This policy explains how Noor, provided by yusuf.noor, uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage when you use the app.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use local storage, which works in a similar way but keeps data in your browser rather than sending it with every request.

2. How we use them

• Strictly necessary — keeping you signed in, securing your session, and protecting against abuse. The app cannot work without these.
• Preferences — remembering your language, sound settings, notification choices and the profile you last used.
• Progress and gameplay — storing streaks, XP, coins, saved lessons and your place in a session so you can continue where you left off.
• Payments — our payment provider, Stripe, sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and to complete your purchase securely.

We do not use cookies for advertising and we do not sell any information collected through them.

3. Third parties

Some cookies are set by services we rely on to run Noor: Stripe for payments and our hosting and authentication provider for sign-in sessions. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.

4. How long they last

Session cookies are removed when you close your browser. Sign-in and preference data can persist for up to 12 months, or until you sign out or clear your browser storage.

5. Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and may stop parts of Noor from working, including saved progress and checkout. Clearing local storage also removes locally stored preferences and offline progress.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
